In this article, we will learn how to install VMware Remote Console on the Windows operating system. How to install it on supported systems, and finally how to use it to connect VMs and manage virtual machines on remote hosts. VMware ESXi and vCenter have a flash-based browser UI, which might no longer work on the latest browsers. VMware Workstation can connect to an ESXi host server and vCenter but getting it is not cheap. What other options are available to manage virtual machines? So, the answer is VMware Remote Console (VMRC).
The VMware Remote Console provides console access and client device connections to VMs on the remote host. First, we need to download the installer before we can run the external VMRC application directly from a vSphere automation web client.
