This article explains how to install Endless in VMware Player. The endless operating system is the most normal operating system out there. This doesn’t mean that you cannot enjoy having an Android Emulator on your system. You can do so using virtualization software.
There are lots of reasons why you should wish to have the latest Endless OS Linux on your system. It may be that you are an Android developer and have decided to progress into Android apps. You will need an Android player to test the apps you develop. You can use a virtualization application to create an Android device-like environment on which you can try out the application.

Install Endless in VMware Player
Download VMware Player
You need to Download VMware Player from their website. After downloading the player, run the VMware Player.exe file to install the VMware player. Once installation is done, you have to restart your system before proceeding.
Download Endless OS ISO Image
Download Endless OS from their official website.
Create a New Virtual Machine
Run VMware Player, and then create a new virtual machine link.
Select the box “I will install the operating system later” and choose Next.
You need to select the Linux guest operating system, select version Ubuntu, and then click next.
Name the virtual machine page, type a unique name and location where the virtual machine is to be stored, and then choose next.
Specify the VM disk capacity, and then choose Next.
Click on the customize hardware button.
Click on CD/DVD (SATA) option, select the box “Use ISO Image file” and then click on Browse.
Select the Endless OS ISO image, and then choose Open.
Click close.
Click finish.
Install Endless OS in VMware Player
Click on the play virtual machine link to start the installation process.
Select Language: English, United States, and then select Next to install Endless Linux in VMware Player.
Choose to reformat this computer with Endless OS.
Select the Endless OS version, and then next.
Choose disk, select I agree, and then next.
Endless OS Linux installation is starting.
Once the installation is done, click on the Power Off button.
You need to disconnect the installation media and click on Edit virtual machine settings.
Disconnect the ISO image, and then click OK.
Choose to play a virtual machine.
Endless OS Linux Configuration

Endless Linux welcome screen, choose your language, and then click next.
Select a keyboard layout, and then choose next.
Accept Endless terms of use.
Enable location service and click next.
Select the time zone and click next.
Type Endless OS name, and then next.
The Endless OS Linux is successfully installed in VMware Player; click on Start using Endless.
